Self priming pumps

LKH Prime The LKH Prime is available in two sizes LKH Prime 20 and LKH Prime 40 covering and exceeds the capacity of the MR-pump range. LKH Prime is a highly efficient self-priming pump, which meets the requirements of hygienic applications. The ability to evacuate air from the suction pipe combined with a low noise level and high pumping efficiency makes the LKH Prime ideal for tank emptying and CIP return applications. With verified effective CIP cleanability, LKH Prime can be used as a product pump as well.

Standard design
Based on the LKH, the LKH Prime is designed to be cleaned in place. The LKH Prime has a stainless steel shroud for protection of the motor, and the complete unit is supported on four adjustable stainless steel legs. Unlike conventional self-priming pumps the LKH Prime has an impeller which can be trimmed for any application.

Shaft seals
The LKH Prime is equipped with either an external single or a double mechanical shaft seal. Both have stationary seal rings made from stainless steel AISI 329 with sealing surface in silicon carbide and rotating seal rings in carbon as standard.

MR

Application
MR is a liquid-ring pump specially designed for pumping liquids containing air or gas. The pump is for use in food, chemical, pharmaceutical and similar industries. The pump is mainly used for CIP-return applications.

Standard design
All product wetted parts, i.e. pump casing, casing cover and impeller are made of acid resistant steel, duplex grade. Seals are made of EPDM rubber.
Cap nuts, legs, leg brackets, adaptor and shroud are made of stainless steel. The shroud has noise absorbing lining inside.

Shaft seal
On MR-166S, -185S and 200S, the mechanical single shaft seals have stationary seal rings of acid resistant steel, duplex grade and rotating seal rings of carbon.
The MR-300 has mechanical single shaft seal with stationary seal rings of carbon and rotating seal rings of acid resistant steel, duplex grade.
