High pressure valves General The valve is air operated and normally double acting actuator (A/A).
The holding pressure mentioned in the table are theoretical values when the actuator is supplied with 6 bar. Also change over valves are available but not shown here.
There are two version: – BBZQ, with “normal” stem sealing to the atmosphere
– BBYQ, with steam barrier protecting microorganism entering through the stem. Of course, steam system have to be supplied to achieve the steam barrier.
Two options of seal, valve seat/plug are available: – SS/SS, stainless steel (for highest pressure)
– SS/PTFE, soft seal in PTFE (limited pressure) Benefits The valve can withstand pressures up to 150 bar Valve bodies are made from solid stainless-steel bar Material in contact with the product: AISI 316L Surface finish in contact with the product: Ra 0.8 μm The only high-pressure valves currently available on the market with 3A certificate
LKAP valvesThe LKAP pneumatic valve is a remote-controlled shut-off valve, designed for food, chemical and other industries. The valve is operated by means of compressed air and has spring return. It has few and simple moving parts which results in a very reliable valve.
LKAP consists of actuator with air cylinder and piston, double lipseal for stem, stem unit with replaceable O-ring in the plug, and valve body with welding connections. It has visual indication of the valve position and is available with 2 (LKAP-V) or 3 ports (LKAP-T). A reed switch unit for indication of open and closed positions is available. The valve can be ordered as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) versions. NC is standard.
