Ball valves The valves are type “reduced bore”, the body size = the size of the bore. A valve with reduced bore have a smaller body size than the connection size. More options are available, the most common are shown here. Application The ball valves are intended for different media applications such as: – Cold and hot water – Air and neutral gases – Acids and caustic solutions, etc. – Media temperature: PS4, 316L = –10 to 175ºC at 8 bar PZ4, Carbon steel = –10 to 200ºC at 16 bar PZ4, 316L = –10 to 200ºC at 16 bar, (fulfil EC 1935/2004) Benefits Loose flanges for free positioning FDA approved seals in PS4 and PZ4 valves
